You realize that us photographers are in the peak of the busy wedding season, and how in the world did I find the time to write my first blog ever? Well, regardless of how busy I am, I always make time for my past, present and future couples. Why? Because you’re in one of the most important seasons of your life! And I want to make sure I give you a little bit of guidance on my area of expertise – weddings!

With that being said, it got me thinking: in the midst of the most popular fall wedding month (October), what better way to start a blog than to write about what rustic wedding venues there are in Monroe, North Carolina and surrounding areas. In no particular order, starting off with Number 1: Dixie Dreams. One of Charlotte’s newest and finest country venues for weddings, parties + more is located on the beautiful Rocky River of Monroe, North Carolina. Now for Number 4: The Bottle Factory Venue. This venue provides the perfect moody vibes paired with an industrial twist. And for Number 6 we have: Seed Mill Barn. A perfect space for any and every event, located in Monroe, North Carolina, this venue is a must-see. Built in 2017 on the grounds of a former horse farm, this venue now provides a perfect rustic yet moody atmosphere with a ceremony space that sits next to a natural creek, framed under many trees for guests to enjoy a true woodland setting. Just might have saved the best for last at Number 10: Champagne Manor. This one had me at a loss for words, and when you see it, you’ll understand. Sitting on 35 acres, including a 15 acre private lake, this distinguished european style countryside manor is absolutely breathtaking. Located in Monroe, North Carolina, this venue provides a variety of spaces for you to choose from. Starting with an outdoor ceremony space consisting of a stone bridal path leading to a tuscan pergola right on the lakeside. I mean, can you imagine? Next up, an illuminated cocktail hour area by the pool and in the courtyard with market lights. And last but certainly not least, a 4,000 sqft reception area with an engineered tent accompanied by crystal chandeliers and polished concrete flooring.
